North Linn and Marquette advance, will meet in 1A state title game

DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) - North Linn is established as one of the state’s best, and they kept the wins coming, beating Winfield-Mount Union 67-51 to advance to their seventh straight 1A championship game.

On the other side of the bracket, Marquette Catholic needed late heroics from senior Kannon Still. Still’s game-winner in the final seconds propelled the Defenders over Lake Mills 59-57.
