TAMA COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - A motorcyclist was stopped by a deputy after going 129 miles per hour, according to the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say they stopped a motorcyclist going 129 miles per hour near WW Avenue on Highway 30.

According to the Tama County Sheriff’s Office, “the rider didn’t crash, but they came dangerously close to being a statistic.”
