Caitlin Clark named Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for second consecutive season

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Caitlin Clark may be headed to the WNBA, but she’s still earning accolades for her college career.

The College Sports Communicators named Clark the 2023-24 Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.

The West Des Moines-native carries a 3.64 GPA, while majoring in marketing.

Clark also took home the award last year, making her just the seventh player to earn the honor in back-to-back seasons.

Clark, college basketball’s all-time leading scorer, was selected by the Indiana Fever with the first overall pick in the WNBA draft Monday night.
