Western Iowans more susceptible to West Nile Virus

A new study by Iowa State University entomologists says people living in western Iowa are more susceptible to the West Nile Virus. The study covered 15 years of data, and says the mosquito that carries the virus thrives in western Iowa, and especially along the Missouri River.
