The Drake women’s basketball team pulled away in the overtime period to beat Northern Iowa 92-83 in the semifinal round of the Missouri Valley Conference Hoops in the Heartland Tournament.
Officials said the tournament adds value to the region’s hospitality and solidifies the community’s reputation as a top destination for collegiate athletics.
