IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - After waiting patiently for an opportunity, Ryan Kriener was definitely a little nervous on Sunday against Nebraska in his first career start.
"I had some jitters coming into the game," Kriener said. "But once I saw that (three-pointer) go down, they all left, and it was time to play ball."
Kriener finished with 14 points and helped the Hawkeyes win their first Big Ten game of the year with a 93-84 victory over Nebraska.
"I was so happy for him," said teammate Luka Garza. "He's one of those guys that is so tough to guard in practice."
