UNI unable to hold off Loyola in the second half

CHICAGO, Illinois (KCRG) - Northern Iowa suffered another tough conference loss after falling to Loyola on Wednesday, 61-60.

The Panthers had a 10-point lead early in the second half, but Loyola took the lead with 1:40 to go. Then a three-pointer by Cameron Krutwig with 48 seconds left put the game out of reach.

The Panthers fall to 9-13 overall and 4-5 in the MVC. They host Missouri State on Saturday at 7 p.m.
