CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Austin Blythe and the Los Angeles Rams came up short against the New England Patriots in this year's Super Bowl losing 13-3. But the Rams bring back several key pieces next season, including Blythe.
"Just to have that experience and realize a dream of mine to be able to play in the Super Bowl is just a lot of fun," said Blythe.
Blythe was a seventh round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2016, then was cut a year later, but quickly signed with the L.A. Rams. This season, he was named the starter for the first two games after incumbent right guard Jamon Brown was suspended. When Brown's suspension was over, Blythe won over the coaches and kept his starting role.
