State volleyball: Wahlert wins third consecutive state title, Cedar Falls and Tipton finish runner-up

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Dubuque Wahlert won its third consecutive state title after defeating Xavier in the Class 4A title game, 3-1. It's also the program's 20th state title overall.

In the Class 5A title game, defending state champion Cedar Falls lost to Ankeny Centennial, 3-0. Then in the Class 3A title game, Tipton's historic season came to an end with a 3-1 loss to Kuemper Catholic.
