Paulsen twins cutting their hair for a good cause

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa offensive linemen Levi and Landan Paulsen haven't cut their hair since high school in March of 2015.

"I didn't know if I would like it or not," said Landan. "You grow attached to it."

But now, the hair and possibly the beards are coming off. The twins will cut their hair on Saturday during the 25th anniversary of the Dance Marathon at the University of Iowa.

The idea started with Landan and his girlfriend, Lexie, who decided to jump into this year's annual fundraiser for Kids with Cancer.

The twins said they would cut their hair if $10,000 was raised, and the beards would be cut at $15,000.

"As soon as they announced that they were cutting their hair at ten thousand, people just started donating and donating," said Lexie Henry.

The twins may have a different look come next season, but it's all for a good cause.
