UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania (KCRG) - For the second time in three games, Tyler Cook was out with an injury for Iowa. On Wednesday versus Penn State, he was held out because of a sprained ankle he suffered on Saturday versus Ohio State.
Despite not having their top scorer, the Hawkeyes still managed to beat Penn State 89-82 for their fourth consecutive Big Ten win.
Iowa hit 12 3-pointers in the game, nine of them came in the first half alone.
Luka Garza finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Jordan Bohannon added 19 points, including five 3-pointers.
Iowa improves to 15-3 overall and will host Illinois on Sunday at noon.
