IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Fans have pleaded their case for Megan Gustafson to be recognized by the national pundits. On Friday, they got their wish.
Gustafson was named espnW's women's college basketball player of the year in a unanimous vote. The award goes along with being named Big Ten Player of the Year, first-team all-conference and first-team All-American.
Gustafson leads the nation in scoring with 28 points per game.
