Iowa survives late push by Bryant in non-conference finale

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Even though Iowa finished undefeated in non-conference play, it didn't come easy in the finale against Bryant.

The Bulldogs came close to beating a ranked opponent for the first time in school history.

The game was tied up at 66 with 3:08 to play. Tyler Cook was able to get a layup with 2:23 to play to put the Hawkeyes up for good.

Cook finished with another double-double, 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Iowa travels to Purdue on Thursday, Jan. 3.
