Iowa goes off against Alabama State, improves to 5-0

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa didn't let its ranking get in the way on Wednesday as the No. 20/22 Hawkeyes dominated Alabama State, 105-78.

They scored 68 points in the first half, which is the most in a half in the Fran McCaffery era.

Luka Garza finished with a team-high 22 points going 8-for-8 from the field. Freshman Joe Wieskamp had a career-night adding 20 points.

Iowa hosts Pittsburgh on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
