CHICAGO, Illinois (KCRG) - For the first time in six years, Iowa will be playing in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals. The Hawkeyes dominated Illinois on Thursday, 83-62.
Last time these two teams met, the Hawkeyes hit 15 3-pointers. On Thursday, they made 12 and shot nearly 52-percent from the field.
Nicholas Baer provided a spark off the bench with 17 points, Joe Wieskamp added 13 points.
Iowa will face Michigan in the quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
