Iowa can't find late game magic, lose to Maryland 66-65

IOWA CTIY, Iowa. (KCRG) - The #21st ranked Iowa Hawkeyes fell to the #24th ranked Maryland Terrapins 66-65 Tuesday night, dropping their record to 20-6 on the season.

Iowa erased a 12 point second-half deficit to have yet another chance for a buzzer-beater, but Isaiah Moss' mid-range attempt hit the back iron as time expired.

Jordan Bohannon paced the Hawkeyes with 14 points adding four assists. Isaiah Moss finished with 12 points.

Maryland was led by three players scoring in double-digit figures, Anthony Cowan (17), Bruno Fernando (11) Eric Ayala (11).
