AMES, Iowa (KCRG) - After starting conference play 2-0, it looked like Iowa State was in the driver's seat. But the Cyclones have hit a bump in the road with back-to-back losses after losing to Kansas State on Saturday, 58-57.
The Cyclones trailed by nine at halftime, fought back in the second half and had a five-point lead with 2:30 to play. Barry Brown made the game-winning layup for Kansas State with five seconds left.
Iowa State falls to 12-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Up next is a trip to Texas Tech on Wednesday.
