Iowa State hopes to pressure high-scoring Washington State offense

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KCRG) - Iowa State will have to find ways to slow down a Washington State offense that loves to pass the ball. Quarterback Gardner Minshew has thrown for 4,477 yards and 36 touchdowns.

"Obviously he's probably the best quarterback we have faced," said junior defensive end JaQuan Bailey.

The Cyclones have 31 sacks this season, one shy of the school record.

Iowa State takes on Washington State in the Alamo Bowl on Friday at 8 p.m.
