Iowa State continues hot shooting against West Virginia

AMES, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa State didn't quite put up the shooting numbers it did on Saturday, but its offense was still effective on Wednesday. The Cyclones dominated West Virginia 93-68 to start up Big 12 play again.

The team shot 54-percent from the field, including 60-percent in the second half.

Lindell Wigginton had his best game of the season, finishing with 28 points. He was 7-of-12 from the field and 12-of-14 from the free throw line.

The Cyclones improve to 16-5 overall and 5-3 in the Big 12. They host Texas on Saturday.
