Iowa State bounces back with upset at No. 8 Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCRG) - Right after being bumped out of the rankings, Iowa State has a chance to quickly get back in.

On Wednesday, the Cyclones ended their two-game skid after beating No. 8 Texas Tech on the road, 68-64.

Four different players finished in double figures. Marial Shayok finished with a team-high 20 points. Michael Jacobson added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Iowa State improves to 13-4 overall and hosts Oklahoma State on Saturday.
