IOWA CITY, Iowa. (KCRG) - Hawkeye sophomore Ihmir Smith-Marsette was named the Rodgers-Dwight Big Ten Return Specialist of the Year on Tuesday. He becomes the first Hawkeye to win the award.
Smith-Marsette ranks second in the nation on kickoff returns with a 29.3 average on 19 returns. His freshman season was also very impressive as he had a 33.5 average on 4 kickoff returns.
