High expectations for Iowa women's basketball

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa made it to the NCAA Tournament last season for the first time in two years. This year, there's already high expectations for the Hawkeyes, who are ranked 13th in the preseason Associated Press poll.

They return four out of five starters from last year, including B1G Preseason Player of the Year, Megan Gustafson.

"Megan is amazing to me," said head coach Lisa Bluder. "She's an All-American that has no ego. And that's hard to find."

Iowa opens the season with an exhibition game versus Dakota Wesleyan on Nov. 6.
