Wolf's three-pointer lifts Cedar Falls past Iowa City West

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa. (KCRG) - With 44.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Logan Wolf (Cedar Falls) hit a go-ahead three-pointer from the top of the key as the Cedar Falls Tigers defeated the Iowa City West Trojans 59-56 in a rematch of last year's 4A state championship.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 9-2 on the season. Wolf finished with 13 points. Jack Campbell was a workhorse down low for the Tigers, finishing with a team-high 25 points.

Patrick McCaffery (IC West) led all scorers with 26 points in the loss, as the Trojans drop to 8-3 on the season.

West High will look to bounce back next Tuesday at home against Waterloo West, while Cedar Falls looks to keep it going against Liberty on Tuesday.
