Hawkeyes knock of Michigan 75-61 for second straight victory

IOWA CITY, Iowa. (KCRG) - The #22nd ranked Iowa Hawkeyes defeated the Michigan Wolverines 75-61 on Thursday night, marking the teams second straight win. With the win, Iowa improves to 13-4 on the season.

Megan Gustafson paced the Hawkeyes with a 21 point performance adding 16 rebounds as Iowa dominated the Wolverines scoring 52 points in the paint.

Overall, the Hawkeyes had four scorers in double-digit figures with Hannah Stewart adding 16, and Tania Davis and Kathleen Doyle both finishing with 10.

Iowa gets a few days of rest before they return to action on the road against Illinois on Sunday.
