Gene Klinge, Iowa's winningest girls' basketball coach, passes away

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Gene Klinge, the winningest high school girls' basketball coach in the history of Iowa, passed away on Wednesday.

He coached for 52 seasons at West Central and Waukon winning 1,009 career games. He won a state championship with Waukon in 2004.

He was 82.
