MANHATTAN, Kansas (KCRG) - The race for the Big 12 regular season title continues to get interesting.
Iowa State defeated No. 18 and conference-leading Kansas State on the road, 78-64. The win ended the Wildcats' nine-game winning streak.
The Cyclones led 38-31 at halftime and had a 10-point lead early in the second half. Kansas State did cut the deficit down to one, but the Cyclones used a 10-0 run in the final five minutes to secure the victory.
Lindell Wigginton finished with a team-high 23 points. Freshman Talen Horton-Tucker added 20 points.
