Chicago Bears hire Nagy as head coach

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (KCRG-TV9) - The Chicago Bears have hired Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy as their new head coach.

Nagy's fifth season as offensive coordinator ended on Saturday night when the Chiefs lost their AFC Wild Card game 22-21 against Tennessee. The Chiefs led the game 21-3 at half time.

Nagy played collegiately at Delaware. He also played six seasons in the Arena Football League.

Nagy replaces John Fox who was fired after Chicago finished the season at 5-11 and in last place in the NFC North.
