SAN ANTONIO (KCRG) - The "Busch Guy" vows Cyclone fans won't run out of beer like last year's bowl game.

On its Twitter account, Busch Beer posted several videos announcing it's spokesman is heading to the Alamo Bowl where Iowa State will play Washington State on Friday.

In one video, "Busch Guy" references the Cyclones trip to the Liberty Bowl last year.

"Last year, they drank Memphis out of Busch Light," he says referring to Cyclone fans. "That's not going to happen again. Not in San Antonio."

That references an interview a Memphis bar gave to WHO-TV in Des Moines who said Cyclones fans tapped out the Busch keg during a pregame party.

The book "Geography of Beers" in 2014 used twitter references to document that Busch Light was particularly popular in Iowa compared to the rest of the country.

Busch's tweets encourage Cyclone fans in San Antonio to tweet with #buschsafehouse and Busch Guy might stop in to find you.
