CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Chase Keeney and Jon Cross will continue to be teammates for at least another two years. Both signed their National Letters of Intent on Thursday to play baseball at Southeastern Community College.

Keeney was Jefferson's top pitcher last season with an 8-2 record along with a 1.17 ERA and a team-high 86 strikeouts. Cross went 7-0 on the mound with a 2.46 ERA and 39 strikeouts.

"Actually, I committed first, and then I got a text a week later that he was coming," said Cross.
