newbo evolve™ searching for local talent for August 5 lineup

Due to local performers being interested, newbo evolve™ is selecting two additional acts to open Sunday's concert on August 5.

The concert stage has a variety of genres scheduled for Sunday and will have music from 12-7:30 p.m. with The Pork Tornadoes as the headliner.

newbo evolve says they're working with The Pork Tornadoes to select the two bands or acts that are within a 30-mile radius of Cedar Rapids.

They will be accepting submissions until May 15 at

. The acts selected to perform will be notified by June 15.

The lineup currently lists Soul Sherpa (original funk/soul), Adam Keith (country), Four Day Creep (classic rock), Kevin “B.F.” Burt (blues), Slap N Tickle (80s/hair metal) and The Pork Tornadoes (today’s hits) as artists performing.

Tickets for Sunday's performances are $10 at the gate on August 5. newbo evolve pass holders will have complimentary admission as part of their three-day pass.

All seating will be general admission and it is an all-ages show.
