Woman has minor injuries after single-vehicle crash near Randalia

FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Fayette County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a car in the ditch and creek on R Avenue near 130th Street around 10:37 p.m. on March 5.

An investigation found Bethany Boleyn, 20, of Hawkeye, was driving the car about 5 miles southwest of Randalia when she went into the east side ditch while driving northbound. Boelyn's car then went into a creek.

Boleyn was taken to Mercy Hospital for minor injuries.

Authorities say the car is destroyed.

Weather conditions were a factor and the crash is still under investigation.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Fayette Ambulance.
