CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Plan on windy conditions today as our area of low pressure that has affected us nearly all week pulls to the east. The wind may gust as high as 40 mph. Plan on an initially cloudy start to give way to some sun this afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
The 9-day forecast is dominated by partly cloudy afternoons as high pressure will generally be in control. This said, there are still small waves of low pressure that will try to make some noise every now and again by kicking some clouds our way at times. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s with 40s common Sunday through Tuesday.
A rise to the 50s should occur by the second half of next week. Our next chance of any meaningful precipitation looks like it'll be sometime next weekend.
