CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - After some cloudy days, the sunshine is a welcome sight. A mostly sunny sky lasts through the afternoon, and it won't be as cold as highs climb into the lower to middle 30s across much of eastern Iowa.
Clouds increase tonight as a cold front passes by late. It looks like any snow will happen after it gets past us, but it's still going to drag colder air southward. Highs will only be in the lower to middle 20s tomorrow. Clouds will decrease but it'll be a bit windy at times. Friday's another chilly day in the 20s with a mostly sunny sky.
The weekend looks quiet with highs fairly close to 30. Next week starts with a fair bit of sunshine and highs in the 30s. Our next chance of precipitation isn't until late Wednesday at the earliest.
