Waterloo police waiting for autopsy results after body found on sidewalk

The Waterloo Police Department says they are waiting on autopsy results after a man was found unresponsive Thursday.

Authorities responded to the area near W 5th Street and Commercial Street around 9:30 p.m.

Officers found 59-year-old Marvin Moyer on the sidewalk.

An ambulance took Moyer to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say there was nothing suspicious at the scene and Moyer's death is still under investigation.
