CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Not much has changed in our local weather at all as blocky high pressure remains in control. Look for highs into the mid-80s this afternoon with dew points going well into the 60s. You may see more scattered clouds in the sky compared to the past few days as well. Look for this pattern to continue through Tuesday.
By Wednesday and Thursday, our next area of low pressure arrives from the west and will provide a chance of showers and possibly a few thunderstorms. It is far too early to assess rainfall amounts at this distance, though the general consensus continues to trend pretty light overall.
