CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - The gusty wind we had on Thursday will drop down, at least for about a day. That wind will swing back around this weekend and may be a bit gusty at times. That milder wind will draw in temperatures in the 50s, although it’s all ahead of the next weather system that will bring about some changes.
Rain is likely on Monday, and as the low pressure moves away from is, colder air will come in behind it. That will lead to a chance of snow on Tuesday. It’s too early to know how much, if any accumulation, will occur in our area. One thing that we have high confidence in is that temperatures will be quite a bit cooler than they have been recently. We should have at least a couple of days in the 30s.
