Vote for May's Student of the Month
Three area students were selected as finalists for the KCRG-TV9 Student of the Month for May.
Korah Robinson is in 4th grade at Washington Elementary School in Mount Vernon. The 9-year-old loves the stage and participates in school plays as well as Odyssey Children's Theatre. Robinson participates in Archery Club and will compete in a national competition this month in Kentucky. She's also in a running club and has many first place finishes in local 5K races. During the holiday season, Robinson packs dozens of shoe boxes to send to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child.
17-year-old Noah Crumpton is a Senior at West Delaware High School. He enjoys shining the spotlight on others as the lead lighting technician at his school. He's also a performer, earning all-state honors as a vocalist three times over the last four years. He participates in soccer and cross country and is also an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Honor Society.
Keara McGuire is a 13-year-old old at Vernon Middle School in Marion. The 7th grader is an avid volunteer helping with flood prevention in 2016, serving food to the homeless, providing Christmas gifts to area families and ringing bells for the Salvation Army. She also volunteers with Junior League and serves on her school district's health committee. McGuire is a leader in her classroom and maintains a 4.0 GPA.
Voting is open until Friday, May 4. The winner will be featured on KCRG-TV9 at the end of the month.
