Victim unhappy with attacker getting work release
A man who a woman was fighting to keep in prison is now getting work release.
Brandon Gordon took a plea deal after shooting a woman at a gas station in Cedar Rapids four years ago. A judge sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
But he's now part of a work release program.
His victim, Kirsten Meyer, said she worries he'll want to hurt her again because he doesn't think he did anything wrong in the first incident.
In reaction to his release, she said she's not happy with the decision.
