CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Veteran’s Day won’t be a wash out by any means. There is the chance for a few showers throughout the day, but better chances will move in mainly in the afternoon and evening. So, if you plan on taking your favorite veteran out Saturday, breakfast would probably be the best bet if you don’t want to fight the rain drops.
Rain drops will likely switch over to a few snowflakes here and there with temperatures only topping out into the middle to upper 30s. Throughout the overnight hours Saturday into Sunday you can definitely expect a wintry mix.
Little to no snow accumulation is expected. As for rainfall totals, at this time a quarter of an inch at most is likely.
