PELLA, Iowa (WOI) - Five months after a tornado hit the Vermeer plant in Pella, the executive members of the company are now talking about being prepared.

On Thursday people were invited to join them at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center to stress the importance of planning.

During the event, Vermeer said what went wrong for them was that they never practiced what happens after the tornado.
