Tyson Foods issues panko chicken nugget recall

Tyson Foods, Inc. is recalling around 36,420 pounds of frozen chicken nugget products, the United States Department of Agriculture announced on Tuesday.

The product is five pound packages of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets, with a Best if Used By date of November 26, 2019. It was shipped to retailers nationwide.

The product was recalled after complaints of extraneous material in the chicken nuggets, specifically rubber contamination. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
