Two high school students killed in northwest Iowa crash

HINTON, Iowa (KCAU) – Officials with the Hinton School District in northwestern Iowa say two students died in a car crash Tuesday morning.

Superintendent Todd Meyer told KCAU-TV the crash happened on Highway K-22 which is north of Sioux City. He said the students were brother and sister.

A post on Twitter from the school district said all evening activities were canceled.

KCAU reports counselors were available to students.
