CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The trial is underway for a man accused of killing an Iowa City cab driver in June 2017.

Prosecutors say Curtis Jones robbed and shot Ricky Lillie after getting a cab ride on June 27, 2017. When they arrived at a stop, Jones allegedly shot Lillie in the head.

Police found Lillie's body inside his cab.

Jury selection was Monday and Tuesday. Testimonies in the trial started yesterday.

Jones also faces a first-degree murder charge for the death of 34-year-old Jonathan Wieseler, a bail bondsman in Iowa City.

The trial was scheduled for September but was delayed with no set trial date.
