Sun shows itself as the day wears on

Several days of calm weather are ahead for eastern Iowa. Partial sunshine today allows temperatures to warm modestly to the upper 20s and low 30s. Mostly clear skies tonight allow things to cool off quickly after sunset, with lows in the low to mid 10s where snow is on the ground, and closer to 20 where little to none exists. Some fog is likely overnight, especially south. Much of the week will be marked by clouds and highs in the upper 20s to low 30s. A storm system brings a chance of snow to start next weekend, and it is followed by a very cold airmass that drops highs into the single digits and teens, and the first below zero lows for many.
Today: Partly cloudy. Wind: NE 5-15.
