CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) -- Tonight we start to see the moisture increase that eventually brings snow to the state. A gradual increase in cloud cover occurs tonight, with lows near 20. Clouds stick with us Friday as we await snowfall Friday night and Saturday. Our snow develops to the south and spreads north Saturday. The highest snowfall totals will be across southern Iowa where 3-4 inches are expected. In contrast, the lightest snowfall of an inch or less is north of Highway 20.
