CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A Cedar Rapids man appeared in court Thursday morning on charges of going armed with intent, robbery and murder.
Donald Harris appeared in court via video.
A criminal complaint shows Harris and another man killed Tarrence Newman on Nov. 12, 2017. Authorities said the two went to a home at 1506 D Avenue Northeast to steal money and drugs from Newman.
The two ended up shooting and killing Newman, according to police.
The complaint shows authorities found Harris' DNA and witness identified him. Police arrested Rayshaun Friend in July for the same charges. He's due in court again in March.
