CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Another cold night is ahead, but the wind is going to be much lighter. Temperatures drop into the single digits below zero, then rebound to about 20 on Saturday. The day starts with sunshine, but clouds increase during the afternoon.
Snow will develop late Saturday night and continue throughout the day Sunday. This looks like a solid 1-3" snow for all of us. We'll get a short break before snow returns late Monday. Snow or a wintry mix is likely Monday night into Tuesday. That one may produce higher snowfall amounts than on Sunday, but it will depend on how much wintry mix happens.
We're between systems on Wednesday, and then another snow-maker comes through Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will remain below normal for the foreseeable future, with highs mostly in the 20s.
