Public Safety Telecommunicators Week honors dispatchers

The second full week in April is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

The week honors thousands of men and women across the country that respond to emergency calls, give life-saving assistance and dispatch emergency professionals and equipment.

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is sponsored by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International.
