The University of Northern Iowa said today it plans to keep tuition and room and board costs flat for the second straight year.

The Board of Regents announced the proposal and the vote on this will be in June. In-state tuition for UNI is just under $9,000 dollars for a full-time course load.

This fall, UNI's enrollment was just under 10,500 -- the lowest since the mid-1970s.
