CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) -- Traffic is moving once again on a busy Cedar Rapids roadway after months of work.

The city has been working on adding a roundabout and smoothing out Johnson Avenue Northwest since this summer.

The city told TV9 back in August the purpose of the five million dollar project was to replace worn-out pavement and improve safety in the area.

6,000 cars drive through this stretch of roadway each day.
